PARKS

CITY PARK

Our beautiful City Park is located right on Main Street (Hwy 2) on the east end of Cut Bank.  Beautifully maintained, our City park offers both sunshine and shade. It is adjacent to the Parkview Senior Center, Joe Meagher Memorial Civic Center and Cut Bank High School football field.  The City Park has a permanent covered outdoor stage that is perfect for larger gatherings and community entertainment and features a state restroom facility developed in conjunction with the Montana Department of Transportation. The park also has a playground area, a roofed picnic area, and picnic tables throughout the park.  City Park is well kept and lighted for evening enjoyment.

DOG PARK

The Cut Bank "Bark Park" is located just one minute north of Cut Bank, over the railroad tracks. Over an acre of fenced in space to let the dogs run wild, with a separate entrance and dedicated space for smaller breeds as well. Our dog park features a graveled walking path within its perimeter with benches for a rest along the way. Because did we mention how big our dog park is? Two pavilions offer a shady spot for you to retreat from the sun, until our recently (2023) planted trees provide shade throughout the park.

The walking path, benches, and pavilions are the result of a Livable Communities grant from AARP and community donations.

BUD PARK

Bud Park is located on the north side of the railroad tracks and starts at Central Avenue, extending west to the 6th Ave Northwest crossing.

CENTRAL PARK

Central Park is located at the east corner of Central Avenue and Main Street.  The surface of this park is mainly cement and brick with two trees, planters of flowers, a wooden carved bear, benches, garbage receptacles and ceramic painted tiles on the wall.

This large park is located on Second Avenue Southwest and Third Street Southwest. This park contains a playground area, a barbecue area, a wind/rain shelter, picnic tables, benches and a swimming pool. The grounds are well kept with a nice green lawn and huge shade trees throughout the park.

CUT BANK TRAILS

"Cut Bank Trails is a 501c3 Nonprofit organization founded in 2011 with the intent to develop a walking/biking trail around the community of Cut Bank, MT. Our mission is to bring our path to wellness as both a safer alternative to community members commuting by foot as well as providing a great system of hiking trails to those to just want to get out and enjoy a hike without having to leave City of Cut Bank. Two sections of our trail network have already been completed: The Coulee Trail and the Anna Jeffries Trails. More additions coming in 2025!

The Coulee Trail is a 2.3 mile long trail along the scenic cliff overlooking Cut Bank Creek. There are two trailheads for the Coulee Trail. The first is located at the corner of 7th Ave South and Dean Dr, and the other is located at the crest of Mountain View Blvd. Bring your hiking boots! The Coulee Trail is a dirt/stone trail that weaves its way up and down several hills, through some great views of the Cut Bank Creek, straight to the Cut Bank Hoodoos (free standing stone pillars) overlooking the creek.

The Anna Jeffries Trail is a more of a conventional quarter mile jogging trail. It loops out behind Anna Jefferies Elementary School in the Northwest side of Cut Bank and takes you out to Skyline Rd (MT-213). Lace up the running/walking sneakers and head for a nice workout on this reasonably flat trail." www.cutbanktrails.com
